Bangkok

The first days in Thailand/Bangkok were full of activities and things to do. We visit the famous Floating Market 2 hours outside of Bangkok. It was beautiful, but you could feel that they are definitly used to tourists. When we arrived at the market and the bus door opened, a lady came to us and said: welcome, there toilet than boat tour with me. After we been to the toilet she said: wash your hands then and come with me. hahaha. i guess that isĀ  because of the high rate of tourists in Thailand=). But in the end it was a beautiful day at the floating markets. Besides we vistit the Chinese Market, made a ferry trip on the big river in Bangkok and drove with a TukTuk like you have to do.

We organized our Malaysia Visa. You have to wake up early early in the morning to be at the malaysian embassy in time. The embassy opens at 9am, we arrived there at 7am. And we were pretty lucky, after we arrived more and more people came and at 9am there was a line of 150 people. haha. In two days we have to get our passports with the malaysia visa back.

On top i have to speak about the demonstrations here. You can hear it a lot. you can see cars driving around with loudspeakers and all in all here in Bangkok are around 4 areas closed, were Thais camp and demonstrate since days. Mostly calm and peaceful, but we spoke to a few people and all of them said, that they think it will change soon. We visit one of the areas at Siam Square. Its is impressive. they camp all togehter, eat togehter, demonstrate togehter....but we left quick. and no worries we stay at an area far away from all that trouble. And soon as we get our passports back, we will start our trip up north.

And not to forget: THE FOOD IS AMAZING.
